Nonprofit Writing
Examples of recent work I have done on behalf of education, nonprofit, and social impact organizations.
“Robin can write. Really write. I’ve witnessed Robin produce under crazy extreme circumstances, and regular planned assignments. She always delivers quality, engaging work. ”
Callisto Survivor’s Guide
A curated resource for survivors. I created this guide with a dedicated team of clinical psychologists, researchers, attorneys, and designers.
Callisto Expansion: Reporting Platform
Callisto supports survivors of sexual assault and professional sexual coercion by building technology to privately and safely report incidents. I am proud to work with a talented team of designers and engineers to create this survivor-centric product, which includes the writing and editing all copy for the expansion of the product into new industries.
Parents for Public Schools of SF: Enrollment Policy
I faced the problem of taking complex public school student assignment policy and making it accessible to parents from all backgrounds. I worked with a multilingual team to ensure an equitable distribution of information across our diverse city. I developed web content, slide presentations, multilingual social media resources, and physical collateral.
SFkids.org
This nonprofit was founded by San Francisco parents in the early 2000s. It was the first website of its kind, and later folded into SF Department of Youth, Families, and Children. We built our brand with an equity focus and a vision of making San Francisco welcoming and affordable to all families in all parts of city. This is an excerpt from a short article I wrote for the site.
SF-Marin Foodbank
I have had the pleasure of writing many newsletters and briefs on behalf of nonprofit organizations. This is one example.
